WHAT'S IT ABOUT? Confugo™ (from Latin: "I take refuge") is a simple but addictive board game, suitable for players aged from 7 onwards. The objective is to move your pieces from one end of the board to the other whilst attacking your opponent's pieces and defending yourself. In each move players have to decide whether to attack, defend or play safe. The winner is the first player to get all their pieces to safety. |
STRATEGY OR LUCK? Confugo™ includes a playing board, 12 playing pieces and three dice. Incorporating elements of both strategy and luck, even a first time player has a chance to beat the most experienced, although a good knowledge of tactics usually proves an advantage. This makes the game particularly suitable for players of mixed ages as younger players can have success immediately and are encouraged to keep playing. |
FAST OR SLOW? A game of Confugo™ takes just a few minutes to play. The winner of each game scores points which can be added up over a number of games. This makes the game particularly useful for settings where time may be limited or concentration spans short. Confugo™ is also a great tournament game as the short play time means the action never stops! |

Playing board games, unlike most video games, is an activity that promotes cooperation, concentration, thinking skills, self-confidence and social interaction. Board games bring families and friends together, teaching important lessons about how to both win and lose gracefully. With no need for special electronic equipment, they are a greener alternative to electronic games at a fraction of the cost. Confugo™ is light and compact, being packed in a canvas bag with a flexible board. It can be packed easily in a suitcase as a travel game. |
